I think this is a little intense and a bit misleading for folks who aren’t already like you.

Many people turn to Medium for advice, and what you’re telling them is to suddenly stop everything they’re doing, remove all distractions, and focus on only one thing.

You also make this suggestion without detailing what the struggle of that process was like.

This means that many people who try to enact your practice will try, fail, not understand why they failed, compare themselves to you (where it seemed really easy,) feel bad about themselves and potentially give up.

I think what you’ve achieved is great, and I think it’s great that you’re attempting to share that with the community, however this post follows a trend on Medium of inspiration porn.

I’d really love to see you write this post in a more thoughtful and less didactic way.
